tool art

someone gave this to tod. i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw it. that hairy stuff is part of the inside of a hammer; it's fiberglass. this is its own art piece ready to hang in my opinion. its beautiful!

how odd-- what a crazy thing as I did not know hammers had fiberglass inside the handles-- ready made art for sure!

That's really cool, and yes it does look ready to hang.

Yes! You need to 'make' a whole row of these and mount them on a wall.

fascinating--I could see it hanging on a white wall. Or...it would make a great statement necklace, challenging to wear, but a statement, nonetheless!

Great to find this! It´s so fascinating to see the different states of decomposition of materials!

Never saw a hammer like this before,
fascinating,
the strongness of the hammer,
combined with the delicate fiber....
fantastic!!!!
