found and in waiting

Mystery scrap I gotta go back for. I walked down to stowe today and was busy picking up found gloves, plastic, etc. when I saw this on the side of the road. At first, as you might imagine, I believed this was some mutant railroad plate. I didn't touch it, (had my nice REI gloves on) and knew it was too heavy to cart around. I will be back to nab it. Tod thinks it's part of a plow part. Anybody?

Don thinks it's a piece from a railway track. Square holes for spikes. Our best guess.

No clue but I'd like to see what you make of it!
I thought at first you might be picking up the plastic disposable gloves (there are a lot around here on the street) and that was really gross! Then I realized these are lost winter gloves. Much less gross. Are you going to make art from them?

yeah, big fat worker gloves, man gloves, cool gloves. not sure what i'm going to do, its another box that needs to get filled up. i'm still on hiatus other than that selfish puzzle piece that is probably another 5 months from being done.....

whatever it is it has a beautiful rust patina to it! Will be interesting to see what it becomes under your touch.
