Vermont Bauble Clock #9, 2009

I covet these cow water basins. I have one more left, its nearly all lunar blue and I'm probably going to just hold onto it awhile before making it into a Bauble Clock. I have this craving for more and am clueless how, where, if, when I will procure more.

Go to farm auctions? Look for supply stores? I have no clue. Maybe ask a friendly farmer!
Another wonderful clock.

I am really liking these clocks. How big are they? Love the rusted coils at the bottom. As for where you might find more I have no clues. I dont think they would be very abundant though. Auctions would be a try,but hopefully you will just come across them for free somewhere! From my words to the universe...!

this one is about 10" across and from top to bottom of coil about 16", the other clock is about 20" long.
yeah, have to wait for nice weather and troll old farms. these were found at an old farm half buried in the earth. that i even found them is quite remarkable!

Really great piece. Thanks for the detailed close-ups too.

There's a scarcity of cow water basins in these parts too.

:-D

Seriously, I love the clock. That twisted "pendulum" makes it for me.
