dump find

I went to the dump today, I like to go to the little shed and drop off things for others as well as get some new used clothes and look for puzzles. Today I found a 1500 piece Pieter Bruegel Puzzle in perfect shape! The strange and fascinating thing about this is, someone has numbered the back of every piece. I want to put this together just to see the back side all numbered. There is also a printout of the puzzle telling what all 118 proverbs contained in the painting mean. Just never know what one will find out there!

I'm also curious about what the numbers on the back of the puzzle pieces mean! Do let us know when you finish the puzzle. In the post below, I read about the problems with the tools -- I'm really sorry about that. What a disappointment. But in the post below that, it's really cool about the Tools & Techniques book -- that looks fun. And the rusty metal rings are wonderful -- nice photo, too of them.

i assume they just numbered it to put it together by number instead of the hard way. it's still a bizarre thing to do. who would take the time?

It is a little bizarre. What if it turns out to be a top secret code that unravels the mystery of the universe?

Hope you didn't mind me joking about your mechanical difficulties. We too are in one of those disturbing cycles in which things don't want to work. One of the stereo components quit and to repair it costs only a little less than a new one. And when we start the car, there's this preliminary, ominous moment of silence.

god, that would be wonderfully schizophrenic wouldn't it? I could grab the box with the numbers and just disappear.
the joking around, no I didn't mind at all, sometimes it just gets to me when money isn't coming in and I feel I have wasted it.
mercury in retrograde, weeds out the healthy from the un. ;( hope your car is not terminal.

It's odd how each piece was numbered ... and that there was a printout of all the proverb meanings too. You make the greatest finds!
