i was able to walk around a little today as it was warm and i could wear shorts instead of pants so my legs weren't being all irritated by fabric. how fitting this wall graffiti felt today.
I am so sorry..every time I have moved I have experienced some type of a weird initiation into the area-something native to the area-poison ivy, poison oak, strange spider bites, and then ticks...and then there is all the strange disgusting things that kids bring home...such a nightmare...take care of yourself!
thanks colleen. i'm working on it! sounds like i'm a rarity actually, seems everyone has had something and this is my first time so its just my turn i guess.
Well, Paula--have you made friends with the local Palmetto bug? I know they are harmless, but they are rampid in the south, and they fly, bear live young, and are disgusting...the only thing that helps are screens everywhere--the door, the windows, etc. You'd know one when you see it--the size of a VW beetle. I kid you not...:-D
Anyway, dear--I'm sure you will perservere! You have the guts and the savy.
yes dawn when i lived in arizona for 20 years they were there. to this day i still have nightmares about them as my first cottage i rented was inundated with them...dropping from the ceiling on me...in my shower. i had no clue back then i needed to keep the drains plugged. they are grotesque...
